I am currently a student at the University of California at San Diego working on my PhD in the Structural Engineering Department under the direction of Scott Ashford and Falko Kuester.

I completed my undergraduate work and my Master's Degree at the University of Utah in 2005 under the direction of Dr. Steven Bartlett.

As a geotechnical engineer, my interests in research include:

  • LIDAR/ 3D laser scanning
  • Hazard mapping
  • GIS databases
  • Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming
  • seacliff and coastal erosion
  • liquefaction hazards
  • earthquake engineering
  • OpenGL programming via C++

I am also involved with CISA3 of CALIT2 using LIDAR for the Da Vinci Project searching for the Battle of Anghiari. Here are some recent articles about that project:
